The Scythian Irish

Couple years back I mentioned Edmund Spenser thought the Irish were Scythian. I didn't like Spenser's politics, nor his hatred; but I also didn't rule out his palaeogenetic theories. (I'm weird like that.)

Ireland, it turns out, has a national-memory of previous peoples inhabiting their isle, which peoples no longer exist. Well what do you know; the people in Ireland back in the Stone Age were Sardinian. The people there now... aren't.

The Irish there today are pure Indo-European. Who came from the Ukraine. ProtoScythians.
